Job summary

EnerSys in Sydney, Australia seeks a Service Technician to provide technical and application support for EnerSys products, install, diagnose, repair, and maintain battery systems at customer sites across the region. You will replace parts, perform preventive maintenance, maintain records, train junior technicians, and coordinate with service managers to expand service opportunities.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak English with comprehension.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to present information to groups of managers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates activities for installing equipment and diagnosing technical problems.
• Travels to customer sites to evaluate, diagnose and repair equipment.
• Replaces defective parts and performs maintenance per specifications.
• Provides on-site technical assistance and troubleshooting support.
• Maintains records of performance reports and service activities.
• Coordinates with technical support, sales and service personnel to expedite repairs.
