Job summary

Axiom Talent is seeking a hands-on Service Technician in Melbourne to support automated packaging and filling equipment across metro and regional sites. You will install, service and maintain machinery, diagnose faults, and provide on-site operator training.

The role requires 2+ years of post-trade experience in industrial servicing, strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to read technical drawings. A company vehicle and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical trade background required.
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience servicing industrial machinery.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain automated packaging and filling machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown support.
• Provide onsite technical support and operator training.
• Travel to customer sites within the state (local travel predominates).
