Programmed is currently recruiting for an experienced Field Service Technician to join Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) in Mackay, Queensland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrician, Refrigeration Mechanic or technically skilled Service Technician looking for a secure, full-time field-based position with a major national business.
You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing Coca-Cola equipment across Mackay and surrounding areas, working directly with customers to keep equipment operating reliably.

Full-time position – 38 hours per week
Monday to Friday

On-call allowance – approximately 1 week in every 3 weeks

As a Field Service Technician, you will travel to customer sites throughout Mackay and surrounding areas to install, service, maintain and repair CCEP equipment.
You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, completing preventative maintenance and ensuring equipment is repaired correctly and efficiently, ideally on the first visit.
Equipment may include:
Glass-door beverage merchandisers
Air curtain coolers
Fountain dispensing equipment
Vending machines
Frozen beverage equipment
Coffee machines
Other CCEP beverage equipment
Service and maintain CCEP equipment at customer locations
Diagnose electrical, mechanical and equipment faults
Complete preventative maintenance and quality assurance work
Carry out equipment repairs and installations
Attend reactive service calls and breakdowns
Complete project and equipment upgrade work as required
Provide professional and friendly customer service
Maintain accurate service records and job notes
Manage parts and stock within your company vehicle
Complete required safety inspections and documentation
Use company IT and service-management systems to record and close jobs
Work closely with Field Service Coordinators and Team Managers
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to CCEP quality standards
We’re looking for someone who is technically capable, customer-focused and comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.
You will ideally have:
Electrical or Refrigeration trade qualification preferred
Previous field service, maintenance or equipment servicing experience
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
Good mechanical aptitude
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities throughout the day
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Good computer and technology skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
Current Australian Driver Licence
Willingness to participate in the 1-in-3 on-call roster
Experience with any of the following would be highly regarded:
Commercial refrigeration
Beverage equipment
Vending machines
Coffee machines
Frozen beverage equipment
Electrical control systems
Pumps, motors and mechanical equipment
Appliance or commercial equipment servicing
This role would suit an experienced Electrician, Refrigeration Mechanic, HVAC Technician, Appliance Technician or Field Service Technician who enjoys solving problems and working directly with customers.
You don't necessarily need previous Coca-Cola equipment experience. If you have strong technical fault-finding skills, mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new equipment, full training and support will be provided.
