Job summary

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners is seeking a Field Service Technician to support the Mackay region on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will service a range of beverage equipment at customer sites, including glass door merchandisers, coolers, vending, and coffee machines.

You’ll work with a hands‑on, customer‑facing approach and be home after each shift. The role offers a take‑home company vehicle, a Monday–Friday schedule, and potential overtime with on‑call allowances.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Electrical or Refrigeration is required.
• Confident communicator with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills with a solutions‑focused approach.
• Highly organised with excellent time management and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a strong safety culture and follow OHS requirements.
• Deliver professional, timely service and great customer experience.
• Diagnose and repair equipment on first visit where possible.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment performance.
• Maximise field time, manage parts, and keep accurate vehicle inventory.
• Follow standard procedures and utilise IT tools for service calls and reporting.
• Collaborate with the team and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Build and expand technical capability through hands‑on training.

You’ll work across a broad range of equipment, including Glass Door Merchandisers, Air Curtain Coolers, fountain dispensing equipment, vending machines, frozen beverage units, and coffee machines.

This is a hands‑on role ideal for a trade‑qualified Electrician or Refrigeration Technician who enjoys working independently in the field. Experience with coffee machines or within a coffee service environment is highly regarded, though not essential.

About You

• Trade qualified in Electrical or Refrigeration (will consider restricted licenses).
• Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Skilled at building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers
• Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills with a solutions‑focused approach
• Highly organised with excellent time management and the ability to work autonomously
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Comfortable using mobile/field service technology and IT systems
• Full, valid driver’s licence (required for field‑based work)
• Background in coffee service or coffee machine maintenance highly regarded.
