Sandvik is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to lead the field service team across the East Coast, ensuring efficient resources, strong customer service, and effective warranty claim management. The role is based in Heatherbrae, NSW and will involve coordinating technicians and liaising with stakeholders to deliver best-in-class service.

The position requires a mechanical trade qualification with a minimum of five years post-trade experience; a Certificate IV or Diploma in Front Line Management

  • Strong commitment to EHS leadership and effective communication.

Responsabilités

  • Plan labour and resources to maximise efficiency.
  • Supervise and direct team members.
  • Coordinate field service technicians on a day-to-day basis.
  • Process warranty claims.
  • Develop and train field service personnel.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders for consistent service.
  • Liaise with customers and perform site visits.
  • Manage field service jobs in the CMMS.
  • Participate in project-based work.

About the Opportunity

The Field Service Supervisor role is responsible for leading people and processes to deliver a competitive and profitable field service operation for Sandvik, while ensuring best-in-class customer service. The role oversees and coordinates the activities of field service technicians across the surface equipment on the East Coast, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the position holds responsibility for warranty claim management and related service processes.

Responsibilities
  • Undertaking all planning requirements to ensure utilization of labour and resources in an effective manner
  • Providing supervision and direction to team members
  • Coordinating field service technicians on a day-to-day basis
  • Processing and responding to warranty claims
  • Development and training of field service personnel
  • Communicate clearly and work with all business lines to provide a consistent service and support to our customers in the region
  • Customer liaison and site visits
  • Manage field service jobs on computer maintenance system
  • Participate in project-based work
About you

This role requires proven supervisory experience within a mechanical workshop and/or field service environment, supported by a recognised mechanical trade qualification and a minimum of five years’ post-trade experience. A Certificate IV or Diploma in Business (Front Line Management) will be highly regarded. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to EHS leadership, with the drive and determination to achieve company targets and operational goals. A positive, proactive approach and well-developed communication skills are essential to effectively manage teams and ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
