Job summary

Coates Cambridge branch is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to service and repair Coates hire equipment on customer sites. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and diagnose faults on earthmoving gear, generators, and lifts.

This permanent full-time role offers attractive hourly rates with overtime penalties, Mon–Fri 7am start, and access to training, career progression and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualifications required.
• Experience with petrol and diesel motors favored.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and perform maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, service and overhaul as required.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on site across equipment (earthmoving, generators, lighting plants, boom lifts).
• Ensure spare parts stock levels to undertake repairs on site.
