Toyota Material Handling Australia is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our Adelaide team. You’ll travel within a 45-minute radius of home, servicing and repairing material handling equipment while staying on the road and in regular contact with customers.

The role emphasizes autonomy and customer-facing work, with a fully supported national network, ongoing training, and opportunities for professional development within a stable, iconic brand.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle, Automotive or equivalent.
• Experience on mobile plant, forklifts, heavy vehicles or agricultural equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Current driver's licence and commitment to safety and quality.
• Forklift experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Attend breakdowns and respond to customer service requirements.
• Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide professional technical support.
• Work closely with the Adelaide Branch and our wider service network.
• Manage your daily schedule while working autonomously in the field.

Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Adelaide Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on the road, working directly with customers and having the freedom to manage their own day.

What will you be doing?

As a Field Service Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping our customers' equipment operating safely and efficiently. Your day will involve travelling to customer sites throughout a designated area within a 45 minute radius of your home.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for a technician who is practical, customer-focused and enjoys solving problems.

You'll ideally have:

• A relevant mechanical trade qualification – Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle, Automotive or equivalent
• Experience working on mobile plant, forklifts, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery or similar equipment
• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A current driver's licence
• A strong commitment to safety and quality

Forklift experience is highly regarded, but not essential. If you have experience working on other types of mobile equipment and have the right attitude and technical capability, we'd love to hear from you.
