Job summary

Eaton is looking for a Field Service Engineer based in Sydney, NSW, to install, test, and service UPS products for critical power applications. This role involves diagnosing complex faults and providing technical support to customers in high-stakes environments like data centres.

We offer a maintained company vehicle, advanced training, and opportunities for overtime. The ideal candidate will hold an A Grade Electrical Licence and have background experience in field service or similar electrical fields.

Qualifications

• Experience with UPS or critical power systems is highly regarded.
• Field service experience in electrical environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex faults.

Responsibilities

• Service, test and commission UPS and critical power equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex faults across electrical and electronic systems.
• Support installation and upgrade projects.
• Deliver high-quality reporting and technical support to customers.
• Participate in an on-call roster supporting critical environments.

Skills

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capability

Experience in field service, industrial electrical or similar environments

Ability to work independently and build customer trust

Education
