Job summary

Eaton Sydney is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, test, service and repair UPS and critical power systems at customer sites across NSW. You will work autonomously with a company vehicle and tools provided, ensuring installations meet specifications.

The role emphasizes fault diagnostics, on-site reporting and support for upgrade projects in data centres, hospitals and other critical facilities. Overtime and on-call rosters offer opportunity to increase earnings while developing

Qualifications

• Experience in field service, industrial electrical or similar environments.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to work independently and build customer trust.
• UPS or critical power experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Service, test and commission UPS and critical power equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex faults across electrical and electronic systems.
• Support installation and upgrade projects.
• Deliver high-quality reporting and technical support to customers.
• Participate in an on-call roster supporting critical environments.
