Job summary

Pellenc ST Australia is seeking an experienced field service engineer to lead installation, commissioning and start-up of industrial automation equipment. The role involves extensive travel across Australia and New Zealand, performing on-site and remote maintenance in line with the company plan.

You will diagnose, repair and fine-tune systems, produce detailed installation reports, and support the After-Sales Service team with critical documentation and client guidance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, installation and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Background in electromechanical or industrial machines.
• Good knowledge of industrial processes with ability to guide clients.
• Experience with reporting and synthesis.

Job description

Reporting to the Customer Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installations, commissioning and start-up of the machines and their maintenance. You will perform with intensive travel in Australia and New-Zealand according to the company plan.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct adjustments and tests to ensure optimal performance of industrial automation equipment according to specifications
• Coordinate, organize and participate in the machine assembly on site
• Prepare detailed reports on installation solutions to facilitate ongoing works and after-sales services
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures, efficiently order and replace parts when necessary (remotely or on site)
• Test and verify equipment operation after installation to ensure proper configuration
• Create comprehensive technical installation reports to document all completed work
• Provide valuable records and support to the After-Sales Service team

About you

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of industrial equipment
• Electromechanical or industrial machines background
• Good knowledge of industrial process and ability to give guidance to clients
• Experience with reporting and synthesis
• Proficiency in Automation, software and network highly valued
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to persist in the face of challenges to meet deadlines
• Adaptability and ability to analyze and problem solve
• Ability to work autonomously or with a team
