Job summary

Coates is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to service and repair Coates hire equipment on customer sites from the Orange branch. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on a variety of machinery, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Permanent full-time position with an 7am start, based in Orange, NSW. Attractive hourly rates with penalty rates for overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical skills.
• Driver's licence (MR/HR) preferred.
• Forklift and EWP tickets are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, service and overhaul on Coates hire equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across a range of equipment (earthmoving, generators, lighting plants, boom lifts).
• Ensure stock levels of spare parts on site are available to complete repairs.

Based out of our Orange branch and servicing the region, Coates Field Service Mechanics take responsibility for repair of Coates hire equipment and machinery on customer sites. Duties include:

• Safe, effective and efficient preventative maintenance, service and overhaul as required.
• Deliver a level of trust and commitment to our customers that Coates is the right supplier for the project
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across a variety of equipment on site - work on large earthmoving, generators, lighting plants and boom lifts.
• Ensure stock levels of spare parts are available to undertake any repair on site.

What you'll bring to the role
