Job summary

Farmland Co. is seeking a Sales Agronomist to join our on-site team in the Hunter Valley, NSW.

You will visit farms, assess crop and pasture conditions, and recommend fertilisers, seed, chemicals, and irrigation solutions aligned with agronomic best practices. Daily duties include field assessments, interpreting soil and plant test results, preparing recommendations and quotes, and collaborating with the in-store team to ensure stock availability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in agronomic disciplines and soil science.
• Knowledge of Plant Nutrition and interpreting test results.
• Understanding of irrigation principles.
• Ability to stay current with agronomy research and product developments.
• Qualification in agriculture or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales or customer service experience in rural supply is valued.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region.

Responsibilities
