Job summary

Hipcamp is looking for a relationship-driven Local Host Advocate to help us build a new field sales channel in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, QLD region. You’ll work from the ground, meeting landowners in person and leveraging your existing network to connect Hipcamp with farmers, graziers, and property owners.

Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with the local agricultural and farming community — essential.
• 1+ year of sales, business development, or relationship-building experience.
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working independently.
• Persistent and comfortable with rejection.
• Valid driver licence, reliable transport, and verifiable comprehensive car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Leverage existing agricultural and local community network to generate new host opportunities.
• Build relationships with farmers, graziers, landowners, and outdoor businesses.
• Conduct in-person prospecting, property visits, and sales meetings.
• Generate opportunities that wouldn’t enter Hipcamp’s digital funnel.
• Identify and pursue commercial camping opportunities, including local caravan parks and campgrounds.
• Attend farmers' markets, agricultural events, shows, field days, and community gatherings.
• Maintain your pipeline in our CRM and partner with the broader sales team.
• Share local market insights and identify growth opportunities for Hipcamp.
