Qualifications

• Diploma or Cert IV in WHS is essential.
• Minimum two years in a similar role, SMP environment preferred.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessing is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence C class mandatory.
• Construction White Card mandatory.
• Working at heights and confined space in last 2 years.
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• HRWL – DG, RB, LF desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification across sites.
• Ensure safety procedures are implemented consistently.
• Develop and deliver training packages for staff.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analyses.
• Carry out inspections and internal safety audits.
• Assist in emergency preparedness and drills.
• Maintain safety records and report trends.
• Provide expert safety advice and regulatory updates.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across teams.
• Coordinate with departments and external bodies on safety matters.
