Job summary

Steelforce, part of InfraBuild, is seeking a Safety and Operational Excellence professional to partner with NSW site leaders and strengthen safety culture across multiple sites. This hands-on role involves audits, field coaching, and driving continuous improvement in safety systems.

You will support risk assessments, analyze trends, and lead investigations while building leadership capability and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Experience in a Health and Safety role within manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or similar environments.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills with frontline teams.
• Excellent communication, coaching and training delivery abilities.
• Solid understanding of safety management systems and risk management processes.
• Experience with ICAM investigations is highly regarded; internal safety audits desirable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate risk assessments and provide practical safety solutions.
• Analyse safety trends to identify improvement opportunities and proactive risk management.
• Support development and implementation of safety initiatives aligned with legislation and business goals.
• Partner with operational leaders to implement and continuously improve safety systems across multiple sites.
• Build leadership capability through coaching and practical guidance on safety leadership and risk management.
• Conduct site audits, inspections and verification activities to identify risks and ensure controls.
• Lead incident investigations, corrective actions and risk management initiatives.
