Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Field Project Engineer in Australia to deliver critical electrical infrastructure projects on site, combining hands-on delivery with engineering ownership. You’ll manage installation, testing and commissioning while coordinating with customers and subcontractors to ensure safe, on-time outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in electrical project engineering, strong design and commissioning experience, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

2+ years' project engineering experience within the electrical industry.
Experience in project delivery, electrical design, installation or commissioning.
Strong stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support project engineering and delivery across the project lifecycle.
Prepare and manage electrical design documentation and technical submissions.
Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and quality assurance activities.
Support safe, compliant and high-quality site delivery.
Work closely with customers, subcontractors and internal teams.
Resolve technical issues and develop practical engineering solutions.
Manage priorities to keep project activities on track.
