Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Field Operations Engineer to stand up, execute, and improve XLAUV field operations. You will own outcomes in the field, coordinating launches, recoveries, and customer success while bridging engineering and field needs.

Qualifications

• Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with autonomous systems or marine platforms.
• Diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades in field conditions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for deployments and work irregular hours.
• Ability to obtain NV2 security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor AUVs in real time, including launches and recoveries.
• Support end-to-end mission planning and deployment readiness.
• Provide forward technical support across software and hardware.
• Develop and refine SOPs, feed customer feedback to engineering.
• Assist in customer deployments and provide on-the-job training.
