Job summary

NSW Department of Education – Springwood NSW is recruiting Field Officers to support the NSW Early Learning Commission in safeguarding children and driving sector improvement. You will work with ECEC services, perform compliance visits, audits, and investigations, and engage with stakeholders to promote high standards of safety and quality across the state.

Qualifications

• Valid Working with Children Check (paid employment).
• Valid driver license required.
• Travel frequently, including overnights, to NSW locations.
• Regular travel and flexible work arrangements.
• Commitment to early childhood education and care values.

Responsibilities

• Undertake compliance visits and quality audits of ECEC services.
• Recommend regulatory actions to ensure policy adherence.
• Conduct site visits for investigations of complaints/incidents.
• Maintain relationships with sector stakeholders to achieve objectives.
• Participate in hub groups to share information and inform policy.
• Contribute to engagement and capability development strategies.
• Prepare evidence-based written reports and submissions.
