Job summary

The NSW Early Learning Commission is seeking Field Officers across NSW to enhance safety and quality in early childhood education and care. You will perform compliance visits, quality audits, and investigations, while applying pedagogical frameworks to diverse ECEC settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in ECEC sector and applying pedagogy in services.
• Ability to interpret legislation and apply regulatory requirements.
• Strong report writing and evidence‑based documentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Undertake compliance and monitoring visits and quality audits of service providers.
• Recommend regulatory actions to ensure policy adherence and appropriate responses.
• Conduct site visits to support investigations and escalate when needed.
• Maintain relationships with sector stakeholders and directorate teams.
• Participate in hub groups to share information and inform policy development.
• Support engagement, communication and capability development across the sector.
• Prepare quality evidence‑based reports, submissions and correspondence.
