Roy Morgan Ltd invites applications for a Field Research Officer to conduct face-to-face interviews in Western Sydney. You will introduce Roy Morgan, engage households, and invite them to participate in important research using a tablet and structured scripts.

This role focuses on building rapport, handling refusals, and ensuring informed consent while maintaining privacy and confidentiality. Training is provided and you will plan a weekly schedule including a weekend day.

Competenze

• Minimum 20 hours per week, including at least one weekend day.
• Current driver’s licence and a reliable, registered vehicle.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and the legal right to work in Australia.
• Willingness to obtain National Police Check (NPI) and Working with Children Check (paid by Roy Morgan).

• Initiate conversation and engage with participants who may not be expecting your visit and invite them to participate in impactful research.
• Build rapport quickly, manage refusals and objections professionally, and ensure informed consent.
• Conduct accurate, structured interviews on a wide range of topics using a tablet.
• Record observations, follow safety and privacy protocols, and maintain confidentiality.
• Plan your weekly schedule to meet agreed hours, including at least one weekend day.
