DFP Recruitment is seeking experienced Field Installation Technicians to support a major national infrastructure upgrade project with a Federal Government organisation. This role is hands-on fieldwork across Australia, involving installation, configuration and commissioning of automated weather monitoring equipment and upgrading existing infrastructure.
You will travel to regional and remote locations, perform site assessments, testing, fault finding and quality checks, and maintain installation
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience in technical installations and field service.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and safety focus.
- Experience with solar power or telemetry is valued.
Responsabilités
- Install, configure and commission automated weather monitoring equipment.
- Upgrade and replace existing infrastructure and technical systems.
- Conduct site assessments, testing, fault finding and quality checks.
- Maintain accurate installation records and technical documentation.
- Travel to regional and remote locations for deployments.
