Job summary

Cubic Transportation Systems is seeking an Installation & Commissioning Technician in Australia to lead end-to-end deployment of devices at customer sites. You will handle site installation, pick and pack equipment as needed, and commission devices to ensure connectivity and operation, meeting project timelines and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on electromechanical know-how, strong documentation skills, and the ability to train site personnel on basic device operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in field installation or commissioning.
• Familiarity with electromechanical systems and basic networking.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation guides.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform site installation of devices and infrastructure at customer sites according to specifications.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare installation reports.
• Power up and configure devices, run system checks and diagnostics.
• Coordinate with project managers for access and schedules.
• Train end-users on basic device operation as required.
