Job summary

FMS Group is seeking experienced Field Fitters for roving roles across multiple sites in Mackay & Coalfields. The positions are casual with a 4-day work week, offering home every weekend and a focus on safety and quality maintenance of heavy mining equipment.

Applicants should hold a relevant trade qualification, have experience with heavy machinery, and possess Coal Board Medical and Standard 11, with a strong safety mindset and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification relevant to mechanical fitting/maintenance.
• Experience working on heavy machinery.
• Coal Board Medical certification or equivalent.
• Standard 11 Statement of Attainment.
• Demonstrated safety-first approach and adherence to site rules.
• Ability to liaise with management and clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM maintenance and breakdown work across multiple sites.
• Engage in Dragline & Shovel maintenance tasks.
• Work across roving and shutdown assignments, four days per week.

The Successful Applicant, Will Have

• Relevant Trade Qualification
