Job summary

ERM is seeking a motivated Perth-based Geologist to join our team and support projects across Australia and internationally. This role is ideal for a geologist with 1–5 years of industry experience who enjoys fieldwork, technical problem-solving and working collaboratively.

The successful candidate will plan and execute exploration field programs, conduct drilling oversight, manage geochemical and spatial datasets, and contribute to technical reporting and client deliverables, while developing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geoscience or a related discipline.
• 1–5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated field competency in geology and fieldwork.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and undertake fieldwork as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ERM’s health and safety and technical standards.
• Plan and execute exploration field programs.
• Conduct and oversee drilling programs with QA/QC adherence.
• Collect, validate and manage geological, geochemical and spatial datasets.
• Undertake geological mapping, sampling and field investigations.
• Interpret data and contribute to technical reporting and client deliverables.
• Develop and maintain GIS databases and spatial analyses.
• Support 3D geological modelling and visualization.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on environmental, mining and sustainability projects.
