Job summary

ERM in Perth is seeking a Geologist with 1–5 years of industry experience to support projects across Australia and internationally. The role combines fieldwork with data interpretation, mapping, and reporting in a dynamic consulting environment.

You will plan field programs, supervise drilling, manage datasets, and work with GIS and 3D modelling tools. Travel and collaboration across environmental, mining and sustainability projects are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geoscience or a related discipline.
1-5 years of relevant industry experience.
Field competency in: Drill program supervision, Sampling programs, Geological mapping, QA/QC implementation and monitoring, Field safety and risk management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel and undertake fieldwork as required.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work across a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute exploration field programs.
Conduct and oversee drilling programs, ensuring strong safety performance and adherence to QA/QC protocols.
Collect, validate and manage geological, geochemical and spatial datasets.
Undertake geological mapping, sampling and field investigations.
Interpret geological data and contribute to technical reporting and client deliverables.
Develop and maintain GIS databases and spatial analyses.
Support 3D geological modelling and visualization.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on environmental, mining and sustainability projects.
