Job summary

Bechtel Mining and Metals is seeking a field-based Environmental professional to support the Environmental Management Program on mining projects. You will work with functional leads to evaluate performance trends and provide technical advice for mitigation and compliance.

Responsibilities include governance of the EMS, stakeholder engagement, and environmental sampling and inspections to protect sensitive areas and cultural heritage, ensuring alignment with ES&H requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences or engineering.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience on projects.
• Ability to develop dashboards and conduct audits.

Responsibilities

• Govern the environmental management program for projects.
• Provide guidance on regulatory and client requirements.
• Perform risk assessments, data analysis, and audits.
• Prepare reports and evaluate performance trends.
• Support ES&H emergency planning and field compliance.
• Develop and maintain Construction Environmental Management Plans.
