Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety professional to help interpret and integrate ES&H requirements into project planning and operations. You will provide input and guidance, track performance, conduct inspections, and support continuous improvement of project health and safety.

The role involves assisting in developing programs, maintaining ES&H data, and coordinating risk assessments and mitigation plans to protect employees and the environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in assisting construction with development of risk assessments and job hazard analysis.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Intermediary knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Be solution oriented with effective time management to deliver a quality product.
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance in ES&h disciplines to implement Bechtel's ES&H program and standards.
• Develops and maintains ES&H programs, systems, and procedures for safety and environment.
• Maintains ES&H databases including incidents, audits, and corrective actions.
• Performs statistical analysis of ES&H data to identify trends and factors.
• Leads risk assessments, studies, mitigation, and monitoring for ES&H issues.
• Prepares communications, reports, and documents for program execution.
