Job summary

Harmony's Eva Copper Mine Project in Queensland's Cloncurry region seeks a senior field engineer to provide project engineering specialization, work planning, material management and technical inspection expertise for EPC delivery by Bechtel.

You will lead safety and quality controls, coordinate subcontract activities, review test plans, and contribute to as-built documentation while ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) required; CPEng preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project engineering processes and cross‑discipline interaction.
• Experience managing mechanical engineering packages and construction practices.
• Effective communication and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide field engineering specialization with work planning and packaging.
• Manage material management, quantity takeoffs and validation.
• Ensure safety, quality control, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate subcontract activities and inspections.
• Review and approve inspection test plans.
