Qualifications

• Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in electrical discipline and construction engineering is preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical design drawings and specifications.
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities on large EPC projects.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate constructability and design issues related to electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
• Establish relationships with Project Engineer for deliverables and configuration management.
• Manage quantity take-off, tracking, reporting, and forecasting for electrical/instrumentation.
• Specify electrical criteria for temporary facilities as required.
• Prepare field requisitions for materials, services, and equipment including panels and switchgear.
• Approve field requisitions as delegated by the Project Field Engineer.
• Review material receiving reports and warehousing for correct deliveries.
• Coordinate interfaces for data exchange to support construction automation and project controls.
• Develop and manage construction quality programs for E&I.
• Prepare cost estimates and coordinate cost reports and forecasts.
• Coordinate with Field Supervision and Subcontractors to plan schedules.
• Recommend procedures to ensure compliance with design and specs.
