Job summary

Wood is recruiting for a Field Engineer / Coordinator to join our team in Port Campbell to provide Field Engineering and Completions Support within Brownfield SMP Projects and Maintenance SIB environment from September.

Responsibilities include preparing and closing out site-based technical queries, supporting work-order scoping, and delivering daily and progress reports. You will coordinate materials, plant and subcontractors while maintaining strong site-office communication.

Qualifications

  • Experience 1–5 years, field experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Engineering required.
  • Mechanical, Process or E/I discipline engineers favoured.
  • Able to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prepare and close out site-based technical queries.
  • Support maintenance work-order scoping and raise hours for scope approval.
  • Prepare and issue daily and progress reports on schedule.
  • Assist with job cards, schedule and progress reviews.
  • Ensure correct AFC engineering revisions in work packs.
  • Coordinate delivery of materials, plant and equipment to match work fronts.
  • Assist with toolbox talks, HAZID, JSA and risk assessments.
  • Arrange registers for plant/equipment and coordinate maintenance and re-certification.
  • Assist with coordination of subcontractors and third parties.
  • Maintain clear communication between site and office teams.

Wood is currently recruiting for Field Engineer / Coordinator to join our team in Port Campbell to provide Field Engineering and Completions Support within Brownfield SMP Projects and Maintenance SIB (Stay in business) environment from September.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for identification, preparation and timely close out of all site-based Technical Queries
  • Support the Maintenance Work Order scoping of break in scopes and accountable for raising request for hours in readiness for scope approval
  • Responsible for preparing and issuing daily reports in a timely manner
  • Responsible for preparing and issuing progress reports in a timely manner
  • Assist with Job Card / Schedule / Progress review
  • Responsible for ensuring correct AFC engineering revisions are available in work packs
  • Co-ordinate timely delivery of materials, plant and equipment to match work fronts
  • Assist with site-based Toolbox talks / HAZID / JSA / Risk assessments
  • Arranging registers for plant and equipment and co-ordinating maintenance and re-certification as required
  • Assist with co-ordination of sub-contractors and 3rd parties
  • Ensure clear communication between site-based team and office-based personnel
Qualifications
