Job summary

Cappro Pacific is seeking a mechanically minded technician to service, maintain and repair diesel-powered heavy equipment in our Sydney workshop and in the field. You will work with engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrical systems while delivering high-quality service and parts support for our customers.

The role offers a starting rate of 55 AUD per hour, with overtime at penalty rates and a company vehicle. Training and development opportunities are provided in a global OEM environment.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge and experience working on mobile plant or similar diesel-powered equipment.
• Construction equipment or other specialised experience highly regarded.
• Mechanically minded, with interest in learning new equipment, systems and technical skills.
• Drivers license, HR highly regarded.
• Someone who works well in a small team and also autonomously.
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs to diesel-powered heavy-duty equipment.
• Changing-out parts and components.
• Working with diesel engines, transmissions, final drives, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Working in the field and in the workshop carrying out service work and attending to any faults that occur in the field.
