Job summary

Digga Australia Pty Ltd in NSW seeks a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Plant Mechanic to service and repair diesel pumps and generators, with a mix of workshop and field duties. You will work with a fully maintained service vehicle, receive quality tools, and engage in diverse field service tasks for long-term career growth.

The role offers $45–$55 per hour (casual), with full-time opportunities available and penalties. Applicants should be experienced with diesel engines and mobile plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter or Plant Mechanic.
• Experience on diesel engines, pumps and generators.
• Experience with Hatz, Perkins and Yanmar engines.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, diagnose and repair 4" to 12" diesel pumps and generators.
• Carry out workshop servicing, field breakdowns and fault finding.
• Perform preventative maintenance across customer sites in NSW.
