Job summary

Cappro Pacific, a global OEM of specialised construction equipment, is expanding its service team in Sydney. The role combines local workshop work with occasional FIFO assignments, offering an hourly rate of $50–$60, with an additional $25–$30 per hour FIFO allowance.

You’ll service, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered heavy equipment, travelling to sites as required while based in Cappro Pacific’s Sydney workshop.

Qualifications

• Cert III Plant Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic/Fitter required.
• Experience working on mobile diesel powered equipment.
• Experience with construction/mining equipment is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on diesel-powered heavy equipment.
• Change out parts and components.
• Work on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Local workshop and field-service work in Sydney; travel to FIFO sites when required.
• Fault-finding and getting equipment back up and running.
