Job summary

Capricorn is seeking an Area Manager to grow the Member network and supplier relationships across a designated territory. You will promote Capricorn products, services and events, while supporting Members with practical solutions and strong relationship management.

This hands-on, field-based role requires regular travel, a proactive approach to business development, and the ability to balance field visits with administration, reporting and internal collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, relationship management or high-level customer service.
• Strong business development and opportunity-identification capability with the ability to grow accounts and convert prospects.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, able to build rapport with Members, Suppliers and internal teams.
• Strong personal organisation, attention to detail and administration skills, with accurate activity records.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities and run an effective field-based schedule.
• Commercial awareness and practical problem-solving skills are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop business with existing Members and assigned Suppliers across your territory.
• Identify and convert new membership opportunities.
• Connect Suppliers with Members and promote Capricorn products, services and events.
• Grow value Members receive from their relationship with Capricorn.
• Travel approximately every 6-8 weeks; ~80% field time meeting Members/Suppliers; balance admin and reporting.
• Build a strong local network and collaborate with internal teams to progress solutions.
