Qiki Pay in Melbourne, VIC is seeking a Business Development Manager to be the local face of the company in the field. You will visit cafés, restaurants, retailers and other local businesses, identify opportunities, and drive new business through proactive outreach and closed deals.

You will manage the full sales cycle, articulate the value of POS, EFTPOS and payments solutions, and continuously expand your pipeline. A successful candidate thrives on targets and autonomous field activity.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience and track record in new business development.
• Ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
• Comfort with field sales and business owner conversations.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new business through face-to-face visits.
• Identify and target cafés, restaurants, retailers and other businesses within your territory.
• Research prospects and prioritise businesses with strong commercial potential.
• Approach business owners and key decision-makers to create sales conversations.
• Qualify prospects by understanding their current POS, payments and operational setup.
• Identify inefficiencies, pain points and commercial opportunities.
• Present Qiki Pay's POS, EFTPOS, ordering and payments solutions.
• Tailor your pitch around the prospect's specific business needs and commercial drivers.
• Handle objections and negotiate with decision-makers.
• Ask for the sale and close new business.
• Generate, manage and progress your own sales pipeline.
