Job summary

Firmus Technologies is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to lead day-to-day fibre installation and network rack activities for large-scale data centre deployments. You will supervise subcontractors, ensure method compliance, and maintain schedule adherence with a focus on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years of fibre installation and site supervision experience, with hands-on capability in OTDR testing, splicing, and network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical cert in telecommunications or related tech; formal background preferred but not mandatory.
• 3–8 years in site supervision or network installation; Fibre optic experience required.
• Field experience with fibre deployment, splicing, testing and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Layer1 fibre installation activities at data centre sites.
• Coordinate fibre routing, termination, splicing, labelling and testing.
• Oversee rack move-in, installation, and cable management per specs.
• Manage manpower, methods, machinery and change with the Site Manager.
• Ensure safety, quality standards and progress tracking; report variances.
• Troubleshoot Layer1 faults in collaboration with engineers; drive corrective actions.
