Job summary

Rural Fibre Co Pty Ltd is hiring a Civil Labourer in Morwell, Victoria, to support the rollout of regional fibre infrastructure. This hands-on role involves pit installation, light earthworks, and operating light machinery, with training provided where needed.

You will work with a small, safety-conscious team on a varied outdoor site, performing duties from trenching to site reinstatement and vehicle operations. Five weeks annual leave and community service leave are offered.

Qualifications

• Civil construction or telecommunications infrastructure experience is a plus
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Safety-focused with reliable work ethic

Responsibilities

• Install telecom pits to support network expansion
• Light earthwork: digging and trenching
• Land reinstatement and site cleanup after works
• Operate Heavy Rigid Vehicle
• Load/unload materials from beavertail trucks
• Maintain safe work practices on site
