Job summary

Monash IVF Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife to join our nursing team in a fertility private-practice support role.

Based across Sydney CBD and Bondi Junction, you will coordinate patient journeys from intake to treatment and follow-up, collaborating with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams in a technology-enabled environment. You will balance exceptional patient care with strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with current AHPRA registration.
• Fertility nursing experience is desirable but not required.
• Excellent communication and high emotional intelligence are essential.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife, ideally with fertility nursing experience, to join the Monash IVF Nursing team in a unique role supporting a Fertility Specialist's private practice.

Working across Sydney CBD and Bondi Junction, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while delivering a highly personalised experience throughout their fertility journey.

This is more than a traditional fertility nursing role. As a key member of both the private practice and Monash IVF teams, you will become a trusted point of contact for patients, helping to coordinate their care, navigate treatment pathways and ensure every interaction is delivered with professionalism, compassion and attention to detail.

You will join a team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, while working within a practice environment committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences and outcomes.

This is a unique nursing role that offers fantastic work life balance, with shifts varying between 8am-5pm, so no shift work and no weekends!

About the Role

In this role, you will provide end-to-end patient coordination and nursing support, working closely with patients, clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations.

You will play an integral role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients, from initial consultations through to treatment and follow-up care. Success in this position will come from your ability to balance outstanding patient care with strong organisational skills, proactive communication, and a genuine commitment to service excellence.

As part of an innovative and evolving practice, you will also contribute to the effective use and ongoing development of technology-enabled systems and processes. A willingness to learn and embrace multiple patient-management systems (PMS).

This role offers the opportunity to further develop your fertility nursing expertise while contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the clinics.

You understand the emotional complexities of fertility treatment and are passionate about supporting patients through one of the most significant journeys of their lives.

You are a highly organised and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional care and service.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife
• Previous fertility nursing experience (desirable)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• High emotional intelligence and a compassionate approach to patient care
• The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
• Flexibility to work across Sydney CBD and Bondi Junction locations and adapt to changing priorities
• Confidence using technology and a willingness to embrace new systems and ways of working
• A positive, proactive and team-focused mindset
