Job summary

Monash IVF Group seeks a motivated Financial Analyst with strong commercial acumen to deliver high-quality financial insights across the Group, primarily Day Hospitals businesses. You will partner with the Commercial Finance & Planning Manager to provide comprehensive commercial and financial support.

This is a fixed-term, part-time role (30.4 hours/week) contracted until 30 June 2027, with a hybrid working arrangement and opportunities to influence business performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.
• Experience in data modelling and data visualisation techniques.
• Ability to build collaborative partnerships across all levels of the organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving mindset.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI.
• Team player with proactive, collaborative and adaptable mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of forecasts, budgets, strategic plans, business cases and financial modelling including productivity and scenario analysis.
• Instil a business partnership model with stakeholders to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Prepare and present regular financial, commercial and operational reports with insightful analysis.
• Support development of financial reporting frameworks, performance scorecards, dashboards using BI tools.
• Assist with ad hoc FP&A or commercial tasks.

About the role

We’re seeking a motivated Financial Analyst who has strong commercial acumen with the ability to build stakeholder relationships and deliver high-quality financial insights to drive business performance.

As a Financial Analyst, you will work closely with the Commercial Finance & Planning Manager to provide comprehensive commercial and financial support for all services across the Group, primarily Day Hospitals businesses. You will collaborate with the broader Finance Team and key stakeholders to identify opportunities, evaluate initiatives, and support delivery of commercial outcomes for Monash IVF Group.

This is a fixed term part time opportunity, working 30.4 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, contracted until 30 June 2027.

In the role, you will participate in commercial planning, budgeting and forecasting, risk assessment, financial modelling and analysis. Your key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Support preparation of forecasts, budgets, strategic plans, business cases and financial modelling including productivity and scenario analysis
• Instil a business partnership model with stakeholders; to support with operational and strategic decisions, while driving continuous improvement within the business
• Preparing and presenting regular financial, commercial and operational reports with insightful analysis
• Support development of financial reporting frameworks, performance scorecards, operational processes and dashboards using business intelligence systems and analytical tools
• Assist with ad hoc FP&A or commercial tasks

Ideally you will bring to the role:

• 3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
• Experience in data modelling and analysis techniques, and data visualisation
• The ability to build collaborative partnerships across all levels of the organisation
• Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail and a problem solving mindset
• Team player who is proactive, collaborative, adaptable and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to better outcomes
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Power BI and other statistical packages or functionality
