Job summary

Westmead Fertility Centre in Sydney seeks an experienced RN or RM to contribute to personalised fertility treatment plans. You will deliver patient nursing care throughout treatment cycles with empathy and a high standard of service.

Join a multidisciplinary team reporting to the Director of Nursing and support a range of investigations and treatments. Role requires ongoing professional development, strong communication, and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and education.
• Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient nursing care throughout fertility treatment cycles with a strong patient focus.
• Perform venepuncture, transvaginal ultrasounds, interpret blood results and educate patients.
• Support the fertility unit to ensure smooth operations and high standards of care.
• Accurate data entry and ANZARD reporting.

As part of a highly respected multidisciplinary fertility team, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals of building a family, while developing specialist fertility expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.

We are currently seeking an experienced RN or RM who will make an important contribution in the delivery and support of a personalised fertility treatment plan. You will be responsible for patient nursing care throughout the patient's fertility treatment cycles. Central to this role is a strong patient focus and the consistent provision of a high standard of customer service, exercised with empathy and care.Fundamentalto the role is the delivery of professional care, education and information to guide patients andprovidean exceptional experience.

Joining a supportive team of experienced Fertility Nurses at WFC, and reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will provide the full range of fertility investigations and treatment. This includes, performing venepuncture, transvaginal ultrasounds, interpreting blood results, education and support of the fertility patient; and assist with the smooth running of the Nursing Unit to ensure a high standard ofcare.

To succeed in this application, you will have:

Current unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency;

Proven customer service skills in patient care;

This role is rostered across seven days per week and involves daytime shifts only, with no night duty requirements.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
