Job summary

Agri Labour Australia is seeking a Manufacturing Plant/Forklift Operator for its Dalby, QLD site. The role involves forklift dispatch, loading 1-tonne fertiliser bags, and supporting processing and packaging operations.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) - essential.
• Proven forklift operating experience, ideally including loading trucks and handling bulk products.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, processing, warehousing or a similar environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to follow operating procedures and quality assurance requirements.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Reliable transport and the ability to attend rostered shifts.
• Loader experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move, load and unload materials
• Operate fertiliser processing and packaging facilities to meet production requirements
• Support the efficient operation of granulation and manufacturing plant equipment
• Monitor feed accuracy, batching accuracy and product consistency
• Operate and monitor plant, machinery and equipment in accordance with procedures
• Complete machine operation and general factory duties as required
• Identify, report and respond to safety hazards, quality concerns and operational variances
• Maintain accurate production and operational records
• Follow quality assurance, manufacturing and workplace safety procedures
• A$34.96 per hour + penalty rates
• High earning potential with approximately 40 hours per week
• Varied work across forklift dispatch, manufacturing and plant operations
