Job summary

Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers (WesCEF) in Kwinana seeks motivated, safety‑minded Product Despatch Operators for the 2027 season in a 6‑month fixed term role. You will ensure safe storage, handling and on‑time dispatch to customers, working closely with transport operators, farmers and internal teams to deliver high‑quality service.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving and proactive attitude.
• Comfort with computers and readiness to learn new systems.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work including manual handling.
• Experience operating mobile or fixed plant and forklifts is advantageous; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely carrying out despatch and storage operations in line with site procedures and environmental requirements.
• Operating and monitoring plant and equipment to support efficient product movement and despatch activities.
• Contributing to product quality by handling, storing and dispatching fertiliser correctly.
• Responding to operational issues and assisting with troubleshooting to minimise disruption to customers.
• Maintaining accurate plant, equipment and operational records using computer-based systems.
• Working with supervisors and team members to meet customer demand and production schedules.
• Conducting routine maintenance, housekeeping and cleaning across the site.
• Championing a strong safety culture and commitment to customer service.
