We’re seeking Fixed Plant Operators to come onboard on a casual basis to assist with the movement of bulk materials at our Port operation. The role involves some manual labour, particularly at the grid, helping to move product through as required.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently unload trucks, ensuring safe and timely transfer of materials.
• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials.
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks on plant equipment for optimal functionality.
• Conduct general inspections to promptly address potential issues.
• Collaborate with management, contractors, operator maintainers, and loader operators.
• Follow policies, procedures and safety regulations strictly.
• Operate mobile equipment responsibly and report hazards promptly.
• Contribute to safety protocol development and implementation.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including unloading, maintenance and safety checks.
• Ensure proper documentation of incidents and resolutions.

Qualifications
