Chosen Family is seeking a female Disability Support Worker to provide ongoing support for a 29-year-old non-binary participant living in Hazelbrook, NSW. The role focuses on promoting independence, wellbeing and practical daily living skills in a supportive, trauma-informed environment.

The successful candidate should be patient, warm, and respectful of LGBTQIA+ identities and pronouns, with an understanding of autism, ADHD and neurodiversity.

Formación

• Experience supporting autistic and/or neurodivergent people.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.
• Ability to communicate at a calm, unhurried pace and allow processing time.
