Job summary

Chosen Family in Katoomba and the Blue Mountains area is seeking LGBTQIA+-affirming Disability Support Workers. The role offers flexible casual hours and the chance to support people with diverse identities, needs and living situations.

You will help with daily living, community participation and personal care while upholding dignity and choice. Applicants should have NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, First Aid, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• WWCC required.
• First Aid Certificate required.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred disability support.
• Help participants access community and activities that matter to them.
• Assist with daily living, personal care and routines as needed.
• Provide companionship, social connection and emotional support.
