Job summary

Ellerslie Farms Group seeks a hands-on Mill Feed Operator to support the DA Hall Group Stockfeed Milling Division at our Millmerran site in Queensland. You will assist with receiving commodities, scheduling feed production and deliveries, testing grain, and ensuring stock is kept at proper levels.

This role runs Monday to Friday with 38–45 hours per week; probation may lead to an Award Bonus and further training to increase your value within the division.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current forklift licence and be capable of safe operation.
• Physically fit with ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates a can-do attitude and works well in a team.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn basic systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate the mill in accordance with established practices.
• Assist with maintaining feedmill equipment, buildings and surroundings.
• Safely operate a forklift on site.
• Receive commodities into the mill and assist with scheduling production.
• Ensure safe and efficient delivery of feed to farm sites.
• Monitor and control stock levels and report shortages.
• Weigh trucks at the weighbridge as required.
• Test grain according to established procedures.
• Prepare and bag product as needed.
