Job summary

Australian Country Choice (ACC) is seeking a hands-on worker for its Brisbane Valley Feedlot, located near Esk and Gatton in Queensland. You will join a small crew and safely operate mill machinery to distribute customised feed rations, maintaining high standards of animal health and nutrition.

The role involves operating feed trucks and loaders, performing basic maintenance, following ration formulas, and recording data.

Qualifications

• Experience operating feed trucks and front end loaders preferred; full training provided.
• Safe operation of large-scale machinery.
• Mechanically minded with good computer literacy.
• Attention to detail, safety and quality; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate feed truck.
• Operate front end loader.
• Perform basic vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Accurately follow ration formulas.
• Monitor, measure, load and weigh commodities.
• Tempering and milling grain.
• Record data and information.
