Job summary

JBS Prime City Feedlot in New South Wales is recruiting a motivated, experienced operator to join a safety‑focused team. You will batch feed rations, operate front end loaders, and perform daily checks while ensuring commodity hygiene and QA standards are met.

Ideal applicants have loader experience, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a rural production setting.

Qualifications

• Experience operating load shifting equipment in a production environment.
• Commodity handling and processing experience would be advantageous.
• Basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate batching of allocated feed rations
• Front end loader operations and daily pre-operational checks of load shifting equipment
• Maintaining commodity hygiene in accordance with QA requirements
• Additional mill duties as required
• Maintaining compliance with JBS Australia policies, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare & Environmental obligations

Job description

Located 45km north-west of Griffith in southern New South Wales, JBS Australia’s Prime City Feedlot is a 35,000 head capacity feedlot and a major supplier to the JBS Riverina Beef processing facility at Yanco. Employing approximately 35 team members, Prime City Feedlot has a strong reputation for producing premium quality grain-fed beef.

The 6,225 ha of dryland and irrigation farm onsite at Prime City supplies the grain, silage and hay required for the cattle in the feedlot.

About the Role

The JBS Prime City Feedlot is currently recruiting for a highly motivated, experienced self-starter to join our dedicated and experienced team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Timely and accurate batching of allocated feed rations
• Front end loader operations and daily pre-operational checks of load shifting equipment
• Maintaining commodity hygiene in accordance with QA requirements
