Job summary

Amazon is seeking a highly organised Program Manager / Executive Assistant to support the ANZ Public Sector Federal Government business. This role blends day-to-day planning with executive support for the Head of Federal Government, thriving in a fast-paced environment across multiple workstreams.

You will coordinate cross-functional initiatives, manage calendars, prepare briefings, and support hiring activities while driving operational excellence and reporting on KPIs to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience
• 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industries
• 3+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience
• Experience with AI centric business and automation of work processes

Responsibilities

• Support leadership with day-to-day operational planning, cadence management, and planning cycles
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across sales, specialist, partner, and marketing teams
• Track and report on key business metrics, pipeline and KPIs
• Maintain and manage planning documents, trackers, and dashboards
• Drive process improvements and operational excellence
• Coordinate annual and mid-year planning processes (OP1/OP2) and data gathering
• Coordinate hiring activities including scheduling, tracking, and onboarding logistics
• Provide executive assistance to Head of Federal Government
• Manage complex calendars with key stakeholders
• Lead customer engagement strategy to deliver high customer care
• Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and pre-reads
• Coordinate executive-level engagements with government customers and internal stakeholders
