Job summary

Catholic Education, Archdiocese Of Canberra And Goulburn is seeking an APS5/APS6 Program Finance Officer to support budgets, contracts and SAP administration in a secure Federal Government environment.

You will provide finance, contract and program support to ensure projects are delivered effectively and remain compliant with government requirements, using SAP and Excel for reporting and governance.

Qualifications

Must be an Australian citizen with NV1 security clearance.
Experience or exposure to financial management, budgeting and reporting.
Experience or exposure to contract administration and contract management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with reporting tools.
Experience with SAP or a similar enterprise finance system will be highly regarded.
Understanding of program and project management principles.

Responsibilities

Support budgets, contracts and SAP administration.
Monitor budgets, expenditure, forecasts and financial commitments.
Prepare financial reports, reconciliations and variance analysis.
Support budget management and periodic financial reporting activities.
Assist with end-to-end administration of contracts including variations, extensions and close-out.
Monitor contractor deliverables, milestones and payments.
Process purchase requisitions, orders, invoices and goods receipts through SAP.
Maintain contract, procurement and financial records.
Prepare governance papers, dashboards, reports and briefing materials.
Support audit, assurance and compliance activities.
